Jayna and her brother, Zan, are the Wonder Twins, a team of aliens who belong to the Super Friends. Their powers are activated by touching the rings they wear, giving Jayna the ability to shapeshift into animals and Zan the ability to shapeshift into water constructs. They are from the planet Exxor and also have a pet space monkey named Gleek.
The Wonder Twins were originally created for television on The All-New Super Friends Hour (1977). Their first appearance in DC Universe continuity was Dan Vado and Marc Campos' Extreme Justice #9 (1995).
