Wildcat is a legacy name of feline-themed vigilante superheroes started by Ted Grant. Despite having no powers, he uses his abilities as a world-class champion boxer to fight crime and also has a modified Indian stunt motorcycle. He has been a member of the Justice Society of America, Suicide Squad and All-Star Squadron. Several others besides Grant have used the name, including his goddaughter Yolanda Montez as a member of Infinity, Inc. and his son Tom Bronson.
Wildcat was created by Bill Finger and Irwin Hasen, first appearing during the Golden Age in Sensation Comics #1 (1942).
