Vox is the name used by several unrelated characters in the DC Universe. It is most prominently used by Lisa, an enemy of Batman who was born into an extremely abusive household, which ultimately caused her to start hearing voices in her head that tell her to do things, such as kill people. Her full name would be revealed to be Lisa Foss during the Dawn of DC. The Vox name was also briefly famously used by Mal Duncan after his vocal chords were destroyed during Infinite Crisis.

Lisa Foss was created by Alan Grant and Dave Taylor, and first appeared in Batman: Arkham Asylum - Tales of Madness #1. (1998)
