The Lizard was a racketeer who disguised as a... lizard. He tried to extort money from wealthy men so that he wouldn't set fire to their properties.

• This version of the Lizard, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–1986 miniseries Crisis on Infinite Earths.
