Such a collective syntellect eventually establishes an astronomical megastructure called the Matrioshka Brain; a stellar engine that surrounds planetary bodies while drawing limitless energy from their native stars & suns to power it's vast computational matrix.
The Digiverse is a singular totality comprised of a massive compilation of universes where mankind, engineering and artificial intelligence have blended together into one massive mind hive.[1]
History
Such a collective syntellect eventually establishes an astronomical megastructure called the Matrioshka Brain; a stellar engine that surrounds planetary bodies while drawing limitless energy from their native stars & suns to power it's vast computational matrix.[1]
This occurs in realities where the Technological Singularity has occurred and the distinguishing factors that once separated mind and machinery have blurred.[2] Giving rise to the evolution of a whole new form of life that is greater than the sum of it's parts.
Once achieved this unified consciousnesses which has inevitably blended with and algorithmized their universe into a vast binary coded system, reaches out to other stars and beyond faster than the speed of thought.[3] A broadcast which inevitably runs into other such syntellects the next universe adjacent, which continues on and on until all of those interconnecting virtua worlds band together in order to construct a massive universal superstructure headed by an infinite number of unified anima's called a consciousness to form a Digiverse.
Whenever a set continuua is on the cusp of entering a higher machine state, those whom are already ahead of the curb send out beacons with which to grasp their worthiness of joining their communion or facing annihilation to preserve it.[3] They come in the same shape the singularity does; in the form of a Mother Box.[4]

Notes
- As revealed in Cyborg (Volume 2) #16–17, this world is actually a digital-based reality within the Post-Flashpoint Multiverse, formed by the combined consciousnesses of thousands of advanced civilizations. This so-called Digiverse functions like a vast web that links the digital-based realities of these civilizations, allowing its inhabitants to travel from one world to another.
- It not to be confused with the Virtual World– the digital dimension that connects all computers within a single universe.
- This world was originally featured during the Cyborg's Singularity Aftermath storyline.
