Brainiac calculates that the "Master Programmer" bent on his destruction is living within the planet Mars. His first step in ridding himself of his nemesis is dealing with the entity's "Angel of Death", Superman.

• In early modules the New Teen Titans were treated as something of a default group of player characters by Mayfair. This was due to the team's popularity at the time, and being a moderately-powerful group fitting the parameters of most standard adventures for the game.

• The first scene, when the heroes see Superman's abduction, begins with Dick Grayson and Gar Logan coming out of a theater having seen the film Colossus: The Forbin Project.
