Earth 42 is one of the worlds of the Multiverse after Flashpoint.
History
Home to Lilliputian versions of Superman, Batman and the like, frolicking in a world without death or violence until their Superman and Batman were both butchered by the monstrous Superdoomsday of Earth 45. Dick Grayson succeeded Bruce Wayne as Batman, only to learn the terrible truth of this seemingly innocent world: they are, in fact, robots controlled by the Empty Hand in order to spy on the House of Heroes, as well as live and die repeatedly to test its plans.

Notes
- Earth 42 is based on the previous concept of the Li'l League, as seen in Superman/Batman issues 51 and 52.
- Earth 42 is opposite Earth 4 in the structure of the Multiverse, and is the closest known universe in it to Skyland and Kwyzz.
- Earth 42 is part of the area of the local Multiverse termed "The Cartoon Rim" with Earths 12, 21, 26, and sometimes 16.
- Seemingly, the majority of Earth 42's residents are unaware they are androids or controlled by The Gentry.
Trivia
- Batman: Li'l Gotham is a comic book series on this Earth.
- The Blackest Night happened in this reality.[1] It is unknown how the Black Lantern Ring works on this Earth, as the Superman of this Earth is an android and should not be able to "die" to be a member of the Black Lantern Corps.
