Earth-5 is one of fifty-one divergent realities that branched from the core New Earth reality during the recreation of the Multiverse shortly following the events of Infinite Crisis.
History
Earth-5 is described as "a kinder, simpler world" than New Earth.[1] Their level of technological development is unknown.
Around the time of the Final Crisis, Earth-5 experienced "The Topsy-Turvy Time Crisis", which was ultimately resolved by Captain Marvel when he recovered the last piece of the Rock of Eternity.[1]

Notes
- It is one of the alternate realities of the post-Infinite Crisis Multiverse, with similarities to the Pre-Crisis Earth-S.
- A hypertime reality very similar to this reality was visited by the Flash and Atom of Earth-898.[2] Its relationship to Earth-S, Earth-5, and Earth 5 is unknown.
