Brazil is the largest and easternmost country in South America. • In several of its appearances, Brazil is described in a stereotyped way. Examples of these errors include a Spanish-speaking country, characters with Hispanic first and last names, a government based on generic Latin American socialists^[9] and even Dia de Los Muertos, which is a Mexican holiday^[10] (although, as in most Catholic countries, Day of the Dead exists as a day of mourning). Fortunately, more care has been taken to avoid these erroneous stereotypes in recent years.
