The robotic peoples of Automato require Duranium to live, which they ran out of on their home planet. The robots chose to invade Jupiter in a desperate attempt to survive by mining the deposits of Duranium there. The Jovians sent their children to earth to escape the attack, where Wonder Woman heard their story and traveled to Jupiter to help. She was able to stop the fighting by having both sides discuss what was going on and develop a trade agreement.
